Local by design

Your mailbox stays where it belongs.

Terse is an app on your Mac, not a hosted mailbox. Mail, indexes, preferences, and working data are kept locally. Your provider remains the source of your email.

On your MacApplication state, mail indexes, and OAuth refresh tokens are stored locally; tokens live in macOS Keychain.
With GoogleGmail access is used only to show and organize your mail and to carry out actions you choose.
With AIOnly relevant content crosses to the AI provider you configure when you enable an AI feature.

No advertising

Your email is never used to target ads.

No data sale

We do not sell personal information or Google user data.
